Darcy and Ariel were on a recent trip up here to Grande Prairie so we decided to get together and make some magic.

They modelled for me earlier in the day, doing some faux elopement shots for my portfolio, so we decided to meet up around sunset to get some shots just for them.

We met up just outside of town on a piece of property they used to live on. The lighting out there was gorgeous, almost as lovely as the couple I got to take portraits of.

Got to get a few cute shots of this little dude too. I made many a funny noise trying to get Rocco’s attention.

Darcy and Ariel compliment each other perfectly and it was a blessing to be able to do their GypsySoul Lovers session.

Who says GypsySoul Sessions are just for girls?!

Meet Aidan. One of the most genuine, sweet, and laid back fella’s I have ever met.

Sometimes it is just really nice to go for a walk down to the water or through a forest. Its amazing how “grounding” nature can be. The sounds, the smell, the beauty of it never ceases to amaze me.

We walked and walked, and listened to some of Aidan’s kick ass tunes, and the leaves rustling above us in the trees.

Thanks for exploring and going on an adventure with me Aidan! And I hope all the photo’s are a great reminder of who you are and who you want to be.

Once in a while, blow your own damn mind!

C&S | GypsySoul Lovers Session | Grande Prairie

Oh my!

The very first of what I very much hope to be many GypsySoul Lover Sessions. I am seriously in LOVE with every single image we took during this amazing session.

 

Courtney and Shawn definitely rocked, were amazing and so incredibly easy to work with. Its always a huge relief when you take photos of a couple with such good charisma and love.

 

I was so excited to do this session and I couldn’t have been happier with how everything turned out. It was all very quick to plan, like most of everything I decide to do in life 😉

We drove about an hour out of town to the old bezanson townsite to get some unique images.

 

Thank you both for sharing your genuine love for each other with me, and I hope you know you have forever stolen a piece of my heart.

I am in search of a couple, or couples who are interested in eloping. And by eloping I mean, just the couple, maybe 2-5 close friends or family, and the officiator.

I am interested in getting more into intimate elopement photography and need some interested couples to photograph. Keep in mind these sessions will be highly discounted so I can add these images to my portfolio and I will need a signed contract as well as a photo release by the couple so I may use the images online and in advertising.

Introducing: GypsySoul Sessions.

I have been debating with myself for a while of what exactly I want to offer people in terms of Photography.

I love portraiture. I love emotions. I love love.

It was all there right in front of me. I want to offer “GypsySoul” sessions to men, women, and couples, who want me to see them. See them for themselves, to break through that barrier people usually have in front of strangers. To look “Inside” the person you are.

I want to give you images of yourself that you can look at years down the road and remember the feelings you were having when I captured them. I want to grow with you during that time.

Another long and late night.

But totally worth it.

My lovely friend Bridget is in town for the next couple weeks and I invited her out with me to go stargazing out of town.

After getting terrified by a very loud moose (Or what we think was a moose!) we drove a bit further into town to avoid any animal encounters 😉

 

I’m hoping to make it out to Jasper before winter to adventure and take some wild photo’s. So keep coming back to see if I make it out there.

A Starry night | Grande Prairie

I’ve been waiting to go out late at night to take some more star pictures for a few days now with an image brewing in my head of the stars and the city together. I kind of accomplished what I set out to do, but I think I can do better, so I am going to try again another night. Might not be in this city, but there will be city lights! Anyways, here are some of my favorites from my late night adventure.

I had the utmost pleasure of being able to capture a few photos of this beautiful little newborn. Welcome earth side little one!

If you’ve read any of my recent blog posts you will have seen some maternity photos of my friend Lindsay I also had the pleasure of taking, well baby Ashlyn made her entrance with a bang and I couldn’t wait to meet her.

 

Incredibly grateful to get to meet and snuggle this baby girl!
